Entry #59: Understanding Over Compromise - 03/22/2025
Everyone is different. Therefore, there will be different views on a particular topic, in a particular context. Thus, it will require in-depth communication, consideration, and understanding for everyone to agree. When there is a misunderstanding and it persists, it increases the likelihood for compromises to occur. Compromises are short term solutions to a circumstance that require another assessment in hopes to achieve understanding. Otherwise, those compromises can manifest into resentment, unresolved conflict, and ongoing confusion. Hence, it is important to seek understanding than compromise.
